I was considering RSD rear fender which fit with their solo seat and gas tank.
I contacted bitchin seat to check if their seat would fit with the RSD fender and the stock tank. They told me NO and we have to send you the pan to mark it.
so i would assume that standard seats always got to be sustomized !!
Hi guys.
I'm new at this forum, but I've been reading your posts regarding rear fenders and modifications.
I've got an 2002 Night Train where I've just detached the rear fender.
I talked to a guy that wants to sell me a brand new Kustom Werks Strutless Wide *** 9" (part #11225). This is just the kind of fender I'm looking for and I've already got planned where to move my ignition module, so my question is simply; will this fender fit to my frame?
Kustom Werks says it will fit all softail frames that measure 11" between the struts. Mine is about 11 3/4.
Of course I'll cut my struts off if I actually get this to fit my bike...
Surprised I missed this thread... I will be mounting this strutless fender soon onto my '08 NT. I got it off of www.demonscycle.com and it is a HEAVY, quality piece of steel. And if you notice, it has a box for the ECM. My boy Eric at Classic Bikes in Rutherford, NJ says that it shouldn't take much to mate it up once the frame horns are cut off. I cannot WAIT to see it.
