I live in Many, La. We were working in North Texas area, mostly around the south/south west side of Fort Worth. Did alot of work around Benbrook. We were there for almost four years. I work for Nabors Drilling on rig 712. We were drilling for Encana. They dropped us, went to Beaumont area and did a couple of wells. Now we are just out side of Baton Rouge, La. We don't have a job lined up for when we get finished with this one. Sucks, I sure hope somebody picks up the rig.
I work for Key Energy-Wireline Division out of Bridgeport, TX. Things have slowed WAY down; I have been working the Barnett play since '01 and it has steadily gotten busier....until now. Most of the majors have dropped rigs, which means completions will get hammered in the next few weeks...good luck!
