Default detach windshield

ok i installed my detach windsheild and i dunno it just doesn't seem like it is as sucure as it should be mayb im just being paranoid i mean i took it on a lil highway trip to see what happens i mean it stayed in place just doesn't seem as tight i can pull on the top of the shield and it will unhinge the top part of the hooks any advice?

If you pull at the top of the windshield it will pull off. The forces at play when riding press against the winshield, pushing it into the mounts.

ill buy that but still kina gets me what if like a big gust of wind from the side hits me i dunno and blow its off mayb im just being paranoid im sure its just fine

Check your instructions and make sure you got the grometts, spacers, etc installed properly.

When the upper "hook" is seated properly on the rubber gromett the spring hook should be over the top of the stop. The windshield shouldn't just slide easily off the grometts. It should take some force at the top to disengage it. Same thing when you put it on.

As the previous poster said as long as it's on properly it would be impossible for it to come off.
