hi there pal of mine.

i called Bill at BR today to ask him about them and he's gonna get back to me tomorrow after he speaks to the chromers. I'm having Bill internally wire my bars before he sends them to me so the bars have to go back to him from the chromers before they get shipped to me.

by the way, keep your eyes pealed, i sent you that item we talked about a while back.

lol lol took me long enough huh lol lol (sorry for the wait bro)

I don't remember the exact price but just the dash and new speedo is around $900, then you need to buy the center dash panel (sticker), coil, mount, cover and new wires, new ignition, dash bracket and screws, rubber dash trim, led dash lights for deuce, (which need to be spliced in to the speedo harness)and the speedo mounting piece, reroute some wiring and you got it. I think all parts were a little over $1200 maybe more. I had to buy parts as i figured out what I needed, many trips to the dealer.

I'm 6'3" and I don't have a problem but others can barely reach the bars, then again i have them pushed forward. I guess you could pull them back, but I don't like that look they need to be straight up.

Damn.. I know the price of cool ain't cheap but that might be a little more than I want to part with right now.. lol.. I did see a deuce dash go on ebay for about $30 with a scratch.. Shoulda bought it and powdered it.. Ain't many ways around a new speedo though..

You can make an ABS plastic trim ring for the stock speedo to fit its kinda tricky, but that's what i did at first. you can kinda tell in some of those pics. It didn't look bad, but I didn't like it so I got the right one.

Nice apes man. Congrats on the Thunderheaders. I was beginning to think that all Rockers came out of the factory with V&H big radius... its getting old...

No offense to all big radius owners.

Mimo.

Ya I love the thunderheader, it's got to be a 2-1 pipe for me. Nothing out performs it. When I bought my rocker I had never scene one before, and when I went to look for ideas I didn't really like any of the other rockers I found so I just had to try things, I got lucky as well, the shop i had most of the work done at had just built one (which there were some pics on this site of) and alot of what i thought i wanted to do he had done and when i saw it done i didn't like how it looked so that worked out nice so i didn't blow a bunch of money.
