Thanks fellas. The front fender is a heartland fender. It's perfect length. MD tags do suck but when I go with the side mount bracket I am just gonna photo copy my tag and down size it. It looks just like a real tag. When you laminate it shines like a plate. Nobody can tell the difference. Dave does your friend sell the heartland stuff b/c that is the only stuff that will fit into the new struts? I am undecided to where I am gonna mount the turn signals. I saw someone with a nice bracket....cant think of who.
be careful photocopying your tags man. if you come across a ****ty cop you might regret your decision.
Ill take my chances. It looks as real as a real plate. I have friends that are cops that do it. Its so hard to tell. I think I can get away with it in my line of work. If I get that a$$hole then I go with it from there. Ill make something work.
the bobtail is one of the best fenders there is but the heartland kit is nice and unique. while on this forum there are many with the kit at home (your home) there aren't any. there are plenty of nice looking stock bikes, but they are nice by themselves. when you pull up to a harley gathering you need an alarm just to find your bike.
how many people have seen an actual heartland kit in there area and if so how many?
I have seen one and I am in a very densely populated area, by densely I mean allot of harleys
I guess my opinion has something to do with where I live, Los Angeles. Heartland in based in this area so I see em all the time. Especially at bike nights. In any case, it's a good-looking kit. I look forward to seeing the mods!
I've got a few months before bike week. I know in the future there will be a lot more since they are so easy to put on. Not cheap though. I would have never bought the kit if it wasn't on eBay. 1000 bucks I could not pass up. How much do you think a vivid black paint job will be for the kit? Approximately? I know its different everywhere. Just trying to get an idea. One more thing about my air suspension that I love that some other kits don't do is that it slams down a little faster. I like that part a lot combined with the air coming out sound. I know every service I have I am going to get the whole system checked for problems.
As far as I know that is the only seat that will fit in the struts. I also got a guy that paints at his house hes got a booth set up and all. Let me know and ill talk to both of them.

PM me now so I remember. You will be first on my list. I will be pissed if this seat I got with the kit is not as comfortable. I can ride all day with this seat.
