Default For those thinking about Troublemakers,....

Figured that I would pass this along,... For those of you that have been looking at the Troublemakers,... I just saw that www.hookerpipes.com has them on sale for 75% off. I thought that I got a good deal on mine for $362.56 a week ago but the same exhaust is now $231.85. Thats cheaper than most slip-ons. Anyway,... just figured I would share the news and maybe someone on here can save a few bucks in these tough economic times.

Hope they are better than the Troublemakers for a Sportster which were a piece of $hit... Two sets both fell apart...

Hooker has had quality issues. I bought a set back in 06' and sent them right back because the chrome was horrible.
Looks like the quality concerns have caught up with sales.

I'm still kinda glad that the "issues" seem to be with the chrome. I got the Darksides! So no chrome worries for me! I was in the same boat, thought I got a great deal and could have saved $100 for waiting just a few days later! Oh well.

Well,.... I love the sound of mine. I've only had them a week or so, but only time will tell if they last, but for only $231 its definately worth taking a chance to me, because they look and sound great,.... so far anyway.

I heard or read somewhere that they are either discontinuing the Troublemaker line or are getting out of the business of making pipes for bikes. Looks to me like they are working to get rid of the their unsold inventory directly.
