So, I ran across an '08 Road Glide, and I've fallen in love....or is it lust? I'm not sure. Anyway, I came across a 2008 Glide this week that a friend of a friend owns, and I'm really considering trying to buy it from him. He just went out and bought an '09 SE Road Glide, and he's still sitting on the "old" one. It is loaded....Fat Cat, Custom Paint, Air Ride, PM wheels (21" front, 18" rear). Oh, and it's only got 1,008 miles. It's not "for sale" but for the right price, I'm sure I could get it. Thing is, I'd have to give up my '07 FXST. I'd love to have both, but I'm pretty sure that wifey wouldn't agree. Here's updated pics of the Softail.......

That's a tough one... Being that i have both a the bagger and bar hopper i would hate to have to pick only one. I guess if I had to only have one of them i would pick the bagger, it's more useful.
it all depends on what kind of riding you do. if you go on trips or a few hundred miles at a time i would pick the glide, for city riding i would stick with the softail. personally i would take the glide, i love baggers!
Beau, you forgot to mention you just got done with an engine build on that bad boy. Good luck on your decision, the Fat Cat looks freakin cool. I'm getting mine soon.
That is one nice ride you got there, a bagger is nice for sure but for me the sportier the better, can't see myself riding a bagger all the time. I would only get one as a second bike. Just my $.02 Keep your ride

Partly depends on what the "right price" for the RG is... To the seller, is the "right" price something better than what the dealer would have given on trade, or is he trying to recover the bike + accessories added? In my opinion if it is the latter, then the price probably won't be "right" for you.
