Gonna change my front fender trim HD 59002-98 on my 07 heritage it says to remove the deutsch electrical connector. I was just gonne snip the connector and tape it not slip out the wire in case there might be a time I might want to put the original back on at a later time. Buddy says slip out the wire I think leave it where it is and tape it up any opinions?
