Default heritage ac

wanting to either remove the decal or turn the center of my air cleaner around 180 degrees ( so the decal is on the bottom) any thoughts on removing the decal, the center of the ac seems to be pressed together so removing the decal is probably the easiest, just don't want to start taking it off to find out that there will be a noticable mark or change in the chrome once it is gone ( darker or lighter underneath the sticker)

Took mine off, cleaned the area with lacquer thinner and polished it. Looked like it was never there. Then I replaced it with a tear drop stepped cover.
