I'm debating keeping my 06 Fatboy or trading for 09/10 RK. If I keep the Fatboy then I'm going to make some changes to it. One change will be to the passenger pegs and changing them to floorboards.
Visited HD and Kuryakyn and that's it so far. At the HD site I found these
Chrome Passenger Footboard Pan Kit 50752-04 Fits '86-later Touring models, '00-later SoftailŽ models, and '06-later DynaŽ models equipped with passenger footboard supports.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
If, as I suspect, neither will actually fit with the stock exhaust? I plan on going with the V&H BSS (if I don't go for the deal on the Hookers?). These should fit then correct?
I didn't see anything I liked at Kuryakyn. If anyone knows of any other floorboards that are chrome and would fit just let me know.
It sounds like the second one is what you want, but the last line means you will probably need a second HD part number which is the mounting bracket / arm from the frame out to the floorboard....your number below is probably the floorboard only....

models equipped with passenger footboard supports.

if i were you i would trade up to that road king! im sure the touring section would love to have you there..and then maybe in 50yrs or so you could sell your bike for alot of money seeing how you will never ride it....09/10 RK - 100 miles - 50yrs. old = $$$$... good luck pensi-poo and may god be with you
Didn't you just get that Fatboy in October? And haven't you been asking about new exhaust, AC's, and PC's for it? And now asking about buying a Roak King and what type of footboards to get?
If you want to get a Road King, just buy the darn thing. If you want to keep the Fatboy and make mod's, then do it. You don't need our constant advice on what you should do.
I'm not trying to be an arsehole, but dude, it's getting annoying.
