Hey guys do the hooker pipes come with heat shields?I'm not sure which ones to get chrome or the darksides pipes.Thanks.

it's a one piece heat shield. I've had my set for a few years now.

Ignore the inventory count online on their site. If you want those pipes best you call a.s.a.p. because they are flying off the shelves as we type...they may be out of stock sooner than you think...

I just got my set of darksides in the mail yesterday for my crossbones. do i need to get a download from the dealer or am i good to just change and go? anyone who already installed theres, what did you do?

Since the pipes were cheap I went ahead and just did the whole upgrade. Went with the SE intake and PC V. For what it's worth, I'd recommend goin with FuelMoto for both of the those. I chose a different path at first and it was a disappointment. I got a deal on the SE but it turned out to be not so good once I realized how much the K&N filter that comes with the Fuel Moto setup costs. I ended up paying more than if I just ordered from them! Plus their customer service is top notch.
