Thanks for the replys. I am thinking My mind is made up on this.I 'll place my order tonight..............
It's a good start I think. It'll give you some idea of how much noise you can tolerate. And if you decide at some point that you're tired of them or they're not for you, simply take them off and sell them in the classified section.
You might want to hold on to your stockers. When I went up into Canada I threw mine back on so I wouldn't run the chance of getting nailed for excessive noise.
Plus if you ever decide to trade your bike in, some dealers prefer that the bike be put back in stock condition.
I wouldn't give you a dime for them. I was a fool...bought them and hated the sound. It reminded me of a wet fart. Put your money towards V&H and do it right the first time.
I have a quick question. Has anyone put just sipons on an 09? I've heard rumors that you need to do a fuel pack at a minimum to run just slipons. Any one have any experience?
Not true. My FLSTC is an 08 and Like I said above I put on the rush slip-ons hated the sound. Removed the baffles, still hated the sound. The bike ran fine just sounded like crap. IMHO, Rush is WAAAYYYYYYYYY overrated and for the cost of them you can get the PC save some more cash and get some V&H with the Stage 1 air kit set it up and you have done it right. I just did mine this winter and it took an afternoon and sounds/runs awesome...no dyno. Real simple if you can turn a wrench. Good Luck.

Thanks.
Put some on my 09 Heritage and love the sound. Only got a couple of hundred miles on them before winter set in. Used the 1.75 baffle.
