I've read a bit about the White Brothers Light Shift Clutch kit. Google it, all kinds of stuff comes up. I have considered purchasing it. All it does is move the point of leverage insude the transmission cover. Seems genious, but way to simple, if you catch my drift!!
If my memory serves me correct, I thought HD introduced easier pull clutches for pretty much their whole Softail line up in '06. If that's the case, perhaps a little cable lube will help you out.
I did a lot of searching on the forum for this and found some useful information. I came away with the idea that I didn't want to install the lighter clutch spring that is part of the HD EZ Pull clutch kit. I liked most of what I read about the White Bros clutch kit. There was a comment that some had to grind part of the trans cover where the clutch cable goes in. I installed a White Bros kit and am happy with the results. I don't think it pulls quite as easy as some newer bikes, but it is much better. I also made sure that my cable was very free.
