Default Standard forward control extension kit

I've got a 2006 Softail Standard and have noticed that after riding for a long time my legs cramp up. I'm considering going with 3 inch foreward control extensions. By the way I'm 5'11. I stopped by my local dealer and was told that Harley does not make foreward extensions for 06 Softail Standards. Which I can't believe given that Harley makes just about everthing. Anyway I mentioned that I read about Arlen Ness foreward controls on this cite and was told that the total cost (including labor) would be around $900. For that amount I just chiropractor. Let me know if that is truely how much this project would cost me.

I got a buddy with a 06 softail standard with 3 inch forward controls, so the dealer is bs'ing you. Im still deciding on forward controld for my bike.. (09 rocker c), ive found $29 Forward controls in some trailer park... and $2,900 Rebuffini ones, so Im trying to find a happy medium as well... Take your time... Its still freezing out.

haha they look really good but $2,900 is a little steep for my piggy bank, theyre out of Italy. They do have a US site but I cant find a retailer in the States... I tried emailing the US site but I believe it is forwarded to the (.IT) Italian site... I posted a Rebuffini question a little while back and no one responded, so Im guessing no too many people know about their product line.
