Alright, I have the smoked Lenses with the amber bulbs on my scoot. The bulbs are ugly as hell. I was considering LEDS, but not sure if i can just swap out 1156/1157 amber LED replacement bulbs that are clear then light up amber. LEDS draw less current so i assume i will need some sort of "Load Equalizer" becuase they draw less current, or can i just swap bulbs, and the ecm will learn?
Also i found "Chrome" bulbs on ebay that i think would look great but they are 15 bucks a pair which is a bit pricey.
I have searched LED kits and they are a bit pricey as well
The ugly bulbs are only a buck or so a peice so i dont want to get into something to pricey.
go with the chrome bulbs. I don't have them but have seen them on and they are cool looking. I have then same but want to wait till I can get smaller LED lights
Red 1156's are actually quite hard to find. Went to at least 5 parts stores here, and no one had any.
Had to get some off of ebay.
My softail came with the Silverstar bulbs up front. They're definatley different, and have an odd glow about them.
I'd like to go LED all the way around eventually.
