Have an 06 Fatboy and been doing mods from day 1 ever since it was ordered. When finished I will post pics when all said and done. My question is that my next mod is replacing all hardware to chrome on whole bike. Most of it is done except the primary, trans, cam, rocker covers.. Can I just replace 1 bolt at a time or do I have to remove everything and replace gaskets and fluids? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks... Ray
Like they said one at a time is fine. Just remember to use a good tread sealant (Lock-Tite) where its needed.
But before you go nuts think about replacing the heavier bolts (head bolts and such) with polished stainless. It looks just as good, but when you have to crank down on the bigger bolts that need more torque. There is the possibility of cracking the chrome plating inviting the dreaded evil rust.
