I have posted a couple times about purchasing my bike in Nov in a snow storm and not being able to ride it, I pussed out a couple weeks ago when it was in the hight 50's but yesterday it was 55 no moisture on the road all sun, there was a little salt still but I said to hell with it I will just be careful so I pulled my new to me 2003 softail standard out of the garage started it up, put on my helmet and said I will just ride to the store that is three miles away, from the time I got moving until I parked it at 5:00 with 61 new miles on her I was all smiles, I woke up this morning smiling, my wifes horse was out of the fence this morning I had to put it in I was still smiling, I am now at work I am still smiling, the weather is turning bad again probably till april but I am still smiling, is it wrong to be this happy over such a thing, if it is I dont care because I AM STILL SMILING.
I bought mine this past Dec.....Same thing has been happening to me. I pull it out with a quick jaunt planned and end up at home hours way later sometimes hundreds of miles later.
