First it was that 50 mile thing. Then I remember tripping 100 miles while cruising through the countryside. Now, (finally), that 500 mile mark! She was reading 544 when I parked her back in the garage today.
A friend and I cruised on up to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va. earlier today. Even though its still below normal temparture-wise here for this time of year, and once again its almost too windy for comfort, it was great getting out on the bike after ten days of crappy weather. Maybe it'll warm up to normal by summer!

I just turned over 4800 miles and, without a doubt, the thing has picked up significant horsepower in the past couple of hundred miles. It just runs much better. It's still breaking in.

Awesome!! I have about 120 miles left to go. I've been riding her little harder and going on the highway more for the last 100 or so miles. It's really hard to not go for long cruises... well, the crap weather makes it easier, but still...
