I couldn't have said it better....
6'3" 260 lbs...
I took the stock seat off and put on a standard softail type seat... hated it!
I like the extra leg room the springer seat gives you...
I wanted a night train for years, so last year when I pulled the trigger to buy one, went to dealer sat on it and it was not comfortable to me at all, not enough leg room. As I looking around more I spotted the cross bones they just got in and when I sat on it, it was like it was custom made for me a pefect fit. I am still all smiles when I ride the bike after a year now.
I concur wholeheartedly. A stock night train felt like some strange type of expensive punishment when I sat on one and it was immediately OUT!
Then I sat on one with the street slammers and 3" extensions.....
It was IN!!
I still want a Bones or some type of fat front tire bike in the not so distant future. May even turn my Train into a springered fat front tire bike at some point. IMO the Bones just looks better than anything on the market. Including my Train!
