I own an '06 Deluxe and recently put V&H Longshots on along with a Screamin' Eagle air cleaner kit. I bought the V&H Fuelpak off Ebay, but have not yet received it. My problem is I have my 10,000mi maitenance scheduled this Friday in which I will need to drive the bike to the dealership. Not being very mechanically inclined, I would like to know if I am going to do any damage by riding to dealership (approx. 10-15 miles) with having changed pipes and air cleaner and not yet installed Fuelpak. Any help would be appreciated.
If it were me I would put the stock AC back on...
the pipes don't do much to your A/F ratio...
since your 06 has no 02 sensors it is going to run lean until you tell it different..
I did the Big Sucker and Big Radius Pipes on my Wife's FXSTC and it runs great.
We later added XiED's and that made it even better.
I was going to install a FuelPak on it but I think it doesnt need it.
We are leaving it like it is.
3k miles and goin, you're not gonna hurt anything.

If you value your wifes bike i would definetly go get some type of fuel management. Chances are you are running super lean as the bike is on the lean side stock and now you have added more air flow but no more fuel? Not too clever in my opinion.
Go take a look at her spark plugs I allmost guarantee you they look something like this.
or go get a dyna tune and you will find out that yes you are hurting that bike.
if you replace the 02 sensors with 330ohm resitors it will run open loop and rich and you will be ok. I ran like that 6 months before i got the monety for a fuel management
