I can't comment on the Ness Big Sucker kit,as I don't know much about it.
I bought the S/E backplate and the posts, o-rings, and breather tubes..... and the K & N filter. Had I known earlier, I would have bought the Doherty. Watch their installation video. AWESOME...... JR
I just bought the black S/E heavy breather and it looks pretty sweet. I cant wait to get it on the bike. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks if the weather breaks.
Harley doesn't have anything aftermarket. Anything other than stock is performance. The Sucker is Ness's answer to H-D's S-E cleaner, I think they're all comperable to each other. K&N is good also, I'm running S-E's on both my Twin cams.
