Stay away from the MotoCompanies paint. You'll go to bike night or a rally somewhere and see another just like it. Whatever style you go with doen't matter. Just make the bike "Yours". I prefer a much simpler theme for my bikes. Which doesn't mean I don't like fancier. I'm redoing mine right now. And it will be very simple overall. But the details will set it apart.
I dunno, I dont think the flames go with the bones either ...but to each his own.
If it were me, and you wanted flames or a design of some type, I would get a dark flat green base, with a slightly lighter or dark gloss green flame possible outlined in pinstripes, maybe a burnt orange or something.
Thanks for the inputs, fellas. Yeah, the flames are probably not "Dark Custom"-ey...maybe I should get skulls...or dragons...or dragon skulls. I got the Bones not so much for the "grr, so Dark!" look as for the old-school-ness of it, and I think the Hot Rod flames go along well with that.
I really like the VonDutch style striping it comes with, and the 30s style typeface on the tank. Over beers, I would probably lean on you to just leave it. (Unless you have the olive pearl paint, then I would convince you to upgrade and sell me the stock tin in the process).
DON'T spend your Money on Tins....Buy your self a a engine upgrade..you won't be sorry.
looks are great,,,but you could go with a 113 engine upgrade for the same amount of coin....
