Default Hard starting EFI

Just a quick question not that it is very important just curious why my buddy's 08 softail and his brothers 08 rocker all start with a quick push of the button even when it is 5 degrees my 03 standard takes like 10 seconds of cranking is there a reason for this or should I just not worry about it, after it is warm its a quick start so it really isnt a problem.

My 02 is FI and starts on the first push almost every time. I have the pciii also. You may be able to bump up a few numbers on the lower rpm ranges and see if that helps. I'd call Jaime at fuelmoto and see if he has any suggestions. He seems to be the all knowing pciii contact. Mine came premapped and works great!
