Been thinkin about these as well but I've also heard about all the problems in the past.. Is that the case? Most of the problems were when they 1st came out?.. Are the caps now on the market a much better made product?

i haven't heard of any problems, nor have i had any with mine. the led lights are consistant with the low fuel warning light. and as far as i'm concerned, as long as the orange low fuel light works on the console, i'm good. i really don't care if the led ligts on the gauge work or not. when my low fuel light comes on, it's time to get some gas.
not 100% sure. but it's harley, i'm sure they make them for a wide range of year models, especially the late models. might be different part number for the carb models?
I have the kuryakyn flush mounts on my bike. I love the LED's at night and it was a breeze to install. I got the kit on Ebay at half price too. It was the best addition to my bike

Like i said, the problems seem to be hit and miss.. If you read up a few posts in this thread you'll read an example of problems.. If you do a simple search you will read tons of posts regarding the quality of these.. I wasn't trying to insult you and I think the look is great.. I really like it and would love to have a set on mine.. On the other hand, while you might not care if LED's go out but if I'm spending $200 for a couple of caps then they damn sure better work everytime in my mind..
