I'm thinking of changing out the tins on my bike, and wanted opinions on what paint color to go with? I don't want to paint the original tins, takeoff/aftermarket tins are fairly cheap on Ebay, and I can get the paint work done relatively inexpensively...!!
The plan is for nothing outrageous, no flames, no skulls, no airbrush work. Just a nice paint job with probably some H-D emblems instead of stickers.
Here's a pic of the current oem scheme (before/after the 18" wheel/tire install):

The day I brought it home. The Silver never did it for me. It always seemed like the chrome got "lost" within the bike:
I year later I scored a Red/Black 2 tone tin set off Ebay, and friggin' WOW what a huge difference !! Now I LOVE my bike now, as the chrome just jumps out at ya' now !! :
So my opinion go with darker tastefull two-tone Harley colors !! BTW, PM me if you like the silver, as I have a Silver tin set for sale cheap !!!
