I'm still waiting to get my fender back from paint. I should have it back the 1st of next week. To answer your question I am planning on putting some rubber washer between the two. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I think if you tighten it down well on both sides you should be okay with the rubbing issue. Im tightening the $hit out of mine. Me no like things falling off bike!!!!! There is nothing wrong with throwing some spacers in between.... will it show a slight gap though?

Still waiting on the brackets for my turn signals and light for plate holder. I am so busy and the weather sucks it is not bothering me. That stuff will be here monday. Probably by the weekend but if not then the following. Even in mock up there was no gap. I do not think it is going to rub. If it does down the road I have it set up so everything can just come right off and wet sand it myself. Now I will have to keep and eye on it(thanks bob). with the air suspension it makes it really easy to get to the bolts without a lift. Lights just unplug from the module. I am still debating on wether i am even using the brackets or putting them on the fender. Dunno yet. I want the cleanest look possible.

Off the subject, Clint- how did you run the wires for the front turn signals?

Down the frame tubes. I have a front chin spoiler so it runs behind that. Some zip ties and walla. One wire down each side. Your tech will have to run some extra wire.

I'm in Md. They shipped it out a little late. No worries. Takes about a full week to get here.
