I have an '07 Heritage w/ Vance & Hines True Duals w/ Fishtails and the performance and sound are awesome. I get a lot of compliments on the pipes especially w/ the fish tails.

Vance & Hines is the way to go.

I have Samson fishtails. They are quite loud compared to the vance and hines. I like the samson fishtail tips afar better than the vance and hines. Mine are drag pipes with no baffles. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Mine are Freedom Performance Sharktails. I'd say they're a little quieter than V&H or Samsons. Still pretty loud though.

I have Samson tru duals on my 08 Heritage, I went with the 4" mufflers love the big sound from them. Plenty loud enough but not too loud. My friends with stock mufflers say they can hear me coming from behind them.

Just sold the exact setup off my 07 Heritage for 300$ Loved the sound and look but the heat off the LH pipe over the primary was a killer for my wife when she rode it. I had to really watch putting my leg down also. I also had a PCIII on it set richer for cooler temps also.

Your back rest on the bike in the pic...any chance its quick disconnect? I am having troubles mounting one I bought.

Thanks!

Watch out with Freedoms. Their quiet baffles are so restrictive that hp & tq will be lower than stock. Also, they are not fully heat shielded like they are advertised to be and the mufflers and sharktail tips will discolor.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll keep my eye on them. I have the standard baffles, not the quiet ones.

Overall, they've held up nicely during the first 800 or so miles.

My friend has Freedom Sharktails on his Deluxe...he's got a good 8,000 miles on them with no visible discoloring. He's got the baffles removed and they sound sick!

I've got Samson's on my bike...i've had them for almost 5 years now. I'm happy with them but....If I was purchasing a new system today, I'd probably go with Freedom...they just look and sound really nice.
