Softail Pics with Apes

Every summer I try and take a road trip on the bike and last summer, while heading to AZ to help my mother out after she cracked some vertebre in her back, I wasn't very comfortable with the 10" apes on the Softal Custom. I realized it would be better raising the bars up at least 4". I thought about risers but figured it would look strange like that. Yesterday, when I brought the bike to my Indy to put on some chrome lowers and a new front tire I saw a Dyna with 10" apes and 6" risers. It did indeed look odd, but man it felt good after sitting on it and testing them out (with my Indy's permission of course). What I want are 14" or 16" apes to go with the stock 2" risers. Does anyone have pics of a softail with 14" and 16" apes I could see? Also, could I get some links to someplace with reasonable prices on bars and cables? I figure since I need to replace the cables going that far up, I might as well get SS cables now.

I have 18" carlins on my fxstd with drag cables and 16" on the flstn the 16" are f&L meathooks as for the cable length measure them out your self

ive got the 16" apes but with 4" risers. i like the look.

I've got 14" carlini flyin apes with the low diamond (1.5inch i think) riser that they sell.

20 inch apes 3 inch built in risers.....soon to switch to 18 inch gimps with 2 inch risers.

14" apes (wild 1's) with 1.5" risers here...I had 3.5" risers before, but didn't like the look...If I change the bars out in the future, would probably go with the 16" apes!!
