Default fxstc windshield

I'm going to Sturgis this year from Ca. and thought maybe it was time for a detachable windshield for the custom. I'm looking for one with the quick detachable system and has good wind protection and was wanting some feedback from other custom owners as to what they are using and likes or dislikes.

Ya don't need no stinkin windshield!! I ride from south Florida to Sturgis every year (5800 miles) round trip, no shield. IMHO the wind in your face is just part of the journey. PM me if ya go, we will meet up for a brew! Ride safe.

Most windshield look gross. I comprimized with the 14" windvest. Makes the ride more enjoyable but looks good enough to just leave it on the bike full time. You still get some wind but lower velocity and it won't beat you up on an all day ride.

I've got the quick detach windshield....it's ok. It takes time to get used to the wind not hitting you right in the face. Instead, it sort of comes around the shiel, and hits you between the eyes and ears. Kind of weird feeling, 'til you get used to it. I only use it on REALLY windy days, or on trips.
