I had the tribar on my XB and thought it looked petty good with the stock fender....
I have since taken it off... and am in the process of mocking up my new fender...
I had looked high and low for something that filled the space (important to me) and looked halfway decent...and settled on the tribar....
anyway just my .02
BTW... I am going with a brass side mount with the new fender....
CC
how difficult was it to remove the license plater holder??
i like the looks of it in your pic..
i already have a sidemount plate holder, but have been holding out on cutting the stock setup..
Hank (biker build off guy) has some really bad *** looking old school taillights and other parts on his website. The old "aviation" style would look good on a Bones IMO.
Dave
with a heartland fender that would be awesome... some day
If you have the tools and talent there's no reason you couldn't fabricate a new bracket from some sheet metal and fit any number of different tailights to it.
Unfortunately fabrication is one of my weak spots... I'm an electrician by trade with a strong mechanical background, so I can fix just about anything if I set my mind on it. Measuring, cutting and welding you don't want to see done by me though... lol I'd just make a mess of it
thats actually the nicest setup I've seen yet... Almost enough to make me take back the LED comment... $US478
+ shipping to Canada though, that hurts
Wow! I didn't look to see how much it was. It's easy when your spending someone elses $$$. I was thinking about going with that one myself but Jesus that's pricey!!
