Ditto on the the Hypercharger. I think the bike looks good the way it is but if the rear fender was at the same angle as the rear of the front one it would flow really well. color and other finishes are sweet.

Problem is, is still all pulled apart due to unfinished project. Been raked, and got fat bak end.

I'm havin a hard time knowin wat anything is worth in value, aswell as in being worthy enough or not to keep certain parts of bike or change some parts.
Only reason I'm even havin this prob is because a so called friend if mine that knows all about wats what with the bike , suggested to me lastnite about getn rid of things , such as my evo 80 engine , and buyn some other engine for $2,000 from some bloke .
Tells me my pipes r **** should change them aswell , which are Vance & Hines , it's got turbo charge , he says take if off coz takes power . It's got 250 bak end , he says put standard bak on etc etc etc
Now gut instincts tell me his bit bein real honest with me ..
I need someone's input on this lol

Back in the day it wasn't uncommon for dudes to paint the inside of their engines to reduce, or prevent, oil leakage. The red your friend mentioned is probably red primer, which was commonly used. I'm not sure that your EVO needed this to be done though. Cast iron engines that leaked oil, yeah, but not to the aluminum EVO's.
As far as the rest of your post. Sounds like it could be an interesting project bike. If that 80 inch EVO is still good I personally would keep it. All depends on what your vision for that bike is, and if you have the funds to carry it out. Send a photo of the bike if you can. Good luck!
