Default another starter question

just curiousm and the other starter question raised this thought in my head so I thought I would ask away, knowing that somewhere out here there is a bright mind with the answers I seek

went big boar (splg?) up to 103" and high air intake and v&h true duals on my heritage classic....also changed cams and gear driven...any benefit in going for a heavier duty starter or can I rest easy with the stock starter?

thanks

i see 54g in your sig pic. dont know your elevation. go to BIGBOYZ website and do the compression calculator. anything over 180 ccp will tax the starter. esp. on HOT starts. unless you have comp. releases installed. you''ll know when the starter is getting ready to go. it'll bang, clunk, grind. post this question over in the engine forum, and you''ll get some even better answers. i've got a set of heads at BIGBOYZ as we speek, getting polished/ported and comp releases. new starter last fall. steve
