Plus one for extensions. I love them. They put your feet out further and you don't feel like your cramped around the tank anymore.
Stock position just didn't feel natural to me. Kept feeling like my foot was going to slip off the board.
Put the Harleygoodies on and problem gone. Moved the boards out about an inch but it makes a big difference in the feel.
May be a personal thing or something particular to the Heritage as the wife doesn't have a problem with her Deluxe.
