I'm thinking of either a 98' or 2000' for my second scoot if price is right. Talked to a guy yesterday that has a 98' with 2k miles on it. ready to sell. He also has a Road King and Wide Glide.
although the 2000' has better changes I guess, including counter-balance. Not sure as to which path to take. For now, I'll just keep riding my Deluxe...
I just picked up an '03 injected Springer custom. I'm lovin it. I've always loved that front end and no matter what the metrics do to try and look like a Harley they don't have one of these. I like the little spring noise I hear once and a while.
i wanted to buy 1 in o6, but i couldnt get 1 over here in the uk, the last year they were imported was 04, they sold less than 10 total i was told so hd knocked them on the head. i got an nt. then i went 2 new york on holiday wiv the misses( left the kids wif the in laws) went 2 newyork hd in queens (nice place queens) least i think it was queens they had at least a dozen in stock all carbed not efi. GUTTED. but i got loadsa cheep bits 4 mine,the wife got some tat from tiffanys cost me ŁŁŁ. & we both got 2c u2 at msg kool

It would be easier to make it out of your bike, just add the springer front end and ta da - springer. Don't worry folks the springers will return, the FXSTC took a nine year vacation.
