Bought mine last tue picked it up Friday you gonna love it !

 

The flat paint is fine. I had a Nightster in black denim/grey. The paint performed well and was low maintenance. I wouldn't worry about it. Glossy is a nightmare in comparison to maintain and keep looking it's best.
