The only way the wheel would shift is if your nuts (pardon me) that align the axle were loose. Is everything tight? Could ahve jsut been installed a little off kilter.

Everything seems tight. I ran it up to around 70 over the weekend and didn't notice anything unusual. I assume I would get a vibration or something if there was a problem Again, just happened to notice it when I was cleaning it up after the ride.

Just to be certain you might want to check and make sure the spacers are on the correct sides and in the right place. Grab each spacer with your fingers and see if it moves back and forth at all. If your spacer moves it is in the wrong place. Don't ask how I know.

Everything feels tight. Thanks for the tips. Great looking bike you have by the way.

I had more than 5 people pointed at my fender in the past and said the wheel is off center, it sounds stupid but the rear fender is mounted slightly off center from the factory, it's a Harley!

Check how your drive belt is riding in the rear pulley. If the wheel is misaligned you will wear the edge. Should show a little space either side of the belt.

On my 07 Deluxe the wheel is the same way. On the left, the gap between the tire and the fender is smaller than the gap on the right side.
I went to the dealer and looked at the other Deluxes', they are all that way. No biggie. I just make sure that the centerline of the tire is correct and not cocked one way or the other.

The tire/wheel is offset from one side more than the other. You can see this very easily by placing your fingers in between the tire and fender on each side. As stated above, if your belt is running true, then your wheel is straight.

Normal. The stock wheel setup runs around a 1/4 inch to the left. If you futz with it you will need to move the brake caliper as well.
