I was lookin for pull back risers thinkin i could keep the look of the stock bars. But i found the carlini blems for a litle bit more than risers went with them. Couldnt be happier and the 1.5 inch tubing looks killer on the train.
I had the same problems as most. Back and neck hurt with stock handlebars on 06 train. I put the 7" Carlini Cleansweep bars on and it made a world of difference. I can ride till I have to refuel now without ANY pain. When I changed out my bars I also put a mustang seat on. Great combination.
i like the riser look better then the t bars..................im gonna try the bigger riser............if that dont work im going 12 1/2 inch or 14 inch apes................i have a spare set of 10 inch apes and i put them on the stock risers and feels perfect but dont know wut it would look like ...............guess i should take a pic and ask the forum
WOW !!! great info!! hmmm like the look of the carlinis clean sweep, im thinking 9.5" pullbacks??? some of u say u love the 7" so how tall r u??? and does anyone have the new harley signature seirise seat?? it has a back rest looks like it would be comfortable!! so what about the air ride who has one??? need more PICS!! lets see the carlinis!!!!
Im almost done with the millitary!! 2 more weeks, but with all the hard work and running 6 freaking miles every other day!!! my knees are now only a few miles of being shot and back pain from time to time all at 24....... so i would really hate to miss out on the thing i love thanks everybody for all the help!!! keep them coming but PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR HEIGHT.
I just went from a nightster to a night train. I couldn't be happier! I did go to 6 1/2" pullback risers. I could see going wider as well. The pullbacks made a hell of a difference though.
took a trip to the dragons tail last year, i have an 07 train. i left home on the bike (i live 15 min south of detroit mi) i had 3 days. forgot to put the trip meter on until Cincinnati Ohio, and logged over 2300 miles in 3 days. here is a pic of me riding the dragons tail and a couple others.
i never had a problem with comfort, i also have the bike lowered obviousley, 2 1/2 inch drop in the front and 2 inch drop in the back and the preload on the shocks stiffened up all the way so i wont bottom out. the bars are 18" rise Nash gimp hangers with 1" risers.
For long trips with the wife on the back i put the sundowner seat on i know it dont look very cool LOL, but it is very comfy and you dont see it when your rideing your bike.
