1996 Fatboy with E-Series

My buddy has a 1996 Fatboy with forward controls, and he picked up a White Bros. E-Series 2-1 exhaust for it. He went to install it last night and it doesn't fit. The front pipe is hitting the brake pivot of the forward controls.

Does anyone have any pictures of a E-Series on an Evo Fatboy with forward controls?

We really want to get this to work, but it's not looking good.

If we can't get the exhaust to fit, he'll be trying to sell it if anyone is interested.
