I've been looking for a new seat for my Heritage. I like the looks of the Saddleman but was wondering what is the saddlehyde like? Is it a cloth or does it look like leather. I can't really tell from the pics on the web site. Anyone have one that can tell me? Thanks
I have a Saddlemen seat. The saddlehyde looks and feels like regular naugahyde. It gives more than leather and wears better. I have the Rogue with the saddlegel on my Deuce. It is a great seat! I love it.
I have a leather saddlemen Renegade I and passengr pillion. Love the seat and had a choice between leather or saddlehyde. Went with leather for a few bucks more.
Not sure what saddlemen seat your looking at but I bought mine at denniskirk.com. The difference between the saddlehyde and leather was only about $30.
I have the Saddleman Road sofa with the Gel rider and passenger on my Ultra. I bought it while at Daytona bike week this year. I paid $608.00 got the saddlehyde seat with rider back rest and the tourpac rest installed. I then walked my H-D seat over to the UPS trailer and mailed it home.
As far as leather, well I've had leather and really like leather better, until it rains and found that I sat in wet long after it stopped raining.
Coaster, do you happen to have the saddlemen part #'s for the seat and pillion? Also, where did you order from and did you have any problems installing on the 05 Springer Classic?? Appreciate any help....Jim
