I have a 07 FLSTC and I'm 6'2" and am a little cramped. The stealer says forward controls but my buddy says waist of money, and I won't notice them. What do you folks think and what are your experiences with them? Are they worth the investment for comfort? Do they effect the ride balance much? Thanks all in advance!
I have the forward controls on my rocker... but I went with a 3" forward control extension also... and it made a huge difference in my comfort...I'm 6'1" 220
Yes Tom, you can do that on your ROCKER. You have lots of room between wheel and frame, WE DONT. On the FL bikes we have that large fender comming down, and this is what restricts us from putting the forward controls on our bikes. Sure we can run standard forward controls, but this is of no help. We need at least 3" forward controls, it wont work iv'e exhausted all avenues of search. If you change out your front fender, you might be able to do something. GOOD LUCK

You're right didn't stop to consider that...hope they come up with something for you guys that need the added leg space for your rides
Best thing to do is install a crash bar, oops ENGINE GUARD and foot pegs. Really lets you stretch out and get comfy.
Thanks Keno, That was my thought but I didn't know if there was anything out there that people were using. Crash bar ah...engine guard and pegs are my next mod!
Hdoki, your link just goes to a blank search page but I don't know what you searched for. Thanks for the try anyway!
