Default exhaust leak

my new hooker header rebel longs leak where the muffler meets the header. ive put on new clamps and tightened them to the point of breaking the bolt-no luck. the dealer says this is bad (loosing back pressure) the local indy says the lose of back pressure is minimal and as long as they dont leak at the head it wont hurt a thing. any opinions?

Try ultra copper on the pipe fittings. Then clamp it down.
