Default Baffle Question

I have an 09 X-Bones and i want to put on some different pipes. My question is can I get away with running baffless, or will i damage the engine? Thanks

this is a question that baffles most...

if you are putting on a new set of pipes, slip-ons, or drilling out your baffles you will be ok....
if you are looking to wake up the engine you will need to install some sort of fuel management system as well as a high flow A/C

I recently put Hooker Rebel Midcuts on my 06 FXST and havnt had any problems being baffle less. Just had to dial in the carb cause of running lean.
