Default 09 Front Brake Issues

Alright well I thought I was slick because I haven't had a problem in my build so far. However, I installed a new ss front brake with all new banjo bolts and washers and I have no pressure at all.

Before you ask, I'm bleeding via the service manual and I've got good fluid flow coming out of the bleeder valve but the pressure just wont build.

Any thoughts?

Theres ya problem right there Bloke...theres not ment to be any bubbles coming through....keep following the procedure untill all the bubbles are gone and only fluid coming out the nipple,,,using fresh fluid everytime ya top the master cylinder up...sometimes it takes along time to get all the air out...

Cheers

yrs ago on one of my bikes with dual front bakes which is even harder to bleed out, I worked 2days to get the air out and a firm pull. never was like factory after that..but good enough to go with.

Possibly the problem may be an air bubble in the caliper. To fix this potential problem:
  1. remove the caliper.
  2. Insert a piece of anything to replicate the rotor.
  3. Position the bleeder valve to be at the highest point.
  4. Squeeze M/C to Remove all air.
  5. Replace
Hopefully this is all you need
