Boot Guard for the X-Bones
Hi all X-bones riders.
I wanted to let you know that I have a laser cut heel/foot guard for the crossbones passenger if you have the twin H-D Pipes with one that goes above the foot board and one that goes below the footboard. They are available in flames, skulls, wings, and POW/MIA.
There are pics on my web site of the guards on bikes, I have a hard time photographing them because the fit exactly with the pipe so it is hard to see where the guard stops and the pipe stops. But, in actuality, the guard is about 3/8" away from the pipe. There are other pics in the catalog section when you are looking at the parts to purchase. (yup you can look at those pics without purchasing) I am still working on my web site and product photos.
Also, I am building a footboard guard. I thought the guard for the touring models might fit, but the X-bones comes with a powder coated steel footboard pan. This makes the footboard pan edge about .050 thicker than just the chromed steel one. I am in the process of widening one of my mounting locks so this guard will fit the Bones. It will be exactly like the ones on my web page, but it will mount to the slightly thicker footpan. My guards are engineered to fit exact and do not need to be drilled into the footboard so you do not have to worry about rust getting under your powder coat. I should have these guards for the powder coated driver footboard in next product run.
