You have to make it your own....To keep it a deluxe the white walls have to stay..Or else it kind of looks like a fatboy ...
I don't think a deluxe looks anything like a fatboy. There are many deluxes without WW tires and they look great. IMO...I'm not a big fan of the fatboy (not meant to offend any FB owners out there) - solid wheels, beefy looking front end - small front fenders with exposed wheel - ride hiedth -signal location - the list goes on & on.....there is one fatboy around this site(annibus) that is baddass but even his looks like a deluxe/heritage. great additions to a deluxe would be 21 front 16 rear, slammed with air ride, pipes(fishtails), low-pro seating, some kind of sweet handlebar setup, and chrome, and definately no windshield/bags. but this is only my taste. I'm still working on my long list of i wants

Once or twice is sharing, or when someone asks about particulars. Searching threads for every mention of them to post the same reply is a bit over..........uh.........obsessive? Time to let it go and quit letting it eat you up, ya think?
If I was doing what you think that I'm doing, I'd agree with you.
12.5 Buffalo Bars with 4" streight risers so I could mount the front bag, would of went 16" all the way but like to have the small bag for odds and end stuff....
Thanks for the pics and info, Ranger. I'm toying with the idea of 16s, but not sure if I've seen a pic of them yet. I've seen 18s, and I'm not sure I want to go that high.
