Default Vance and Hines Pro Pipe

I am debating on changing my big radius for these. However was wondering a few things.

1. Does anyone have a problem with these scarping. Espically on lowered bikes.

2. For those that have them how do you like them.

I know there are a lot of opinions on 2 into 1 pipes and which one is the best.

I have the Pro Pipe on my NT and it's lowered 2 inches in the rear. My pipe is the newer "BP" (blue proof) model and I have not scraped it yet, even while 2-up. A friend of mine does have the older model Pro Pipe on a lowered softail and he does scrape his every once in a while. If you look closely, you can see that the "BP" model sits a little higher than the old one.

I love the Pro Pipe. It has a great sound and I'm very happy with the performance. My HD Tech actually recommended it to me. He said that it is probably one of the best 2-1's available and it gives you the "best bang for the buck".

Here's mine on the Train.

I run a ProPipe HS on my '03 Heritage and a ProPipe BP on my '07 Heritage. Like mentioned above, the BP sits a little higher than the earlier HS. I haven't scraped either one. They are great pipes!

Those Pro Pipes are awesome. If my Rinehart 2-1 dosent bode well on the dyno I will be joining the Pro-Pipe crew as well.

The build quality of a V&H pipe is hard to overlook when pipe shoppin'.

Thanks for all the info. I have been debating between this pipe and a Thunderheader. I have heard a lot of good things about both. I was leaning towards, but was concerned about scrapping.

I am not worried about how loud they are. I want the performance aspect of them.

That derned thunderheader whilst a great performing pipe looks really wierd on any of the FXST series bikes. That is one long sumbiatch!!

Get the low cat from D&D.

I'm putting a Black Rinehart on my Train today. I will post up some photos later. Its a long sumbiatch as well but like the OP I'm not so concerned with sounding like a potato or any of that crap. I simply want to maximize the low end torque of my stage 3 build.....Plus I'm tired of looking at my Big Shot Staggereds!
