Bueller?

Good Question on the controls; I may or may not go to them. I will say that the Heartland conversion was the equivalent of at LEAST a 2" extension, if not 3".

My Rocker-C is my first Harley and I love it. I'm 6'-1" and at times it seems a little small. I just bought the Danny Gray seat and have read that it sits you farther back and down, so this should create more leg room. I'll know next week when I get it. If not, I would like to know more about the extensions.

I'm not trying to be argumentative but have you sat on or ridden your bike since the Heartland kit was installed?.. I have the kit on my Rocker and it sure didn't move me back 2" let alone 3".. If anything it moved me forward about 1"..

I'm 5'10" and installed 2" forward controls in order to not feel cramped.. Then again, my idea of cramped will be different from someone else's.

What kind did you get, did you install them yourself, was it difficult, and how much did they run you? Thanks in advance.

I definitely was put back almost 3" on my bike; I wonder why yours was different; I even pulled a stock rocker next to mine to check.

I got no idea what the name of the kit was but it was the only 2" kit I could find.. Got it from Drag.. Had to buy the brake line separate.. I think the total was about $250 for parts and I installed it.. Pretty easy job.. Especially if you have service manual..

D. Wiggs.. You got lucky then cuz that isn't what happened with me.. I wish I was another inch back too.. Not sure the extensions would make up the difference of where I'd like to be sitting.. When I bought my kit last year I talked to Marty F (who had done it 1st on here) and he said he felt it moved him forward about 1.5" if I remember right.. Maybe they changed something in the design from the original kits to the current stuff.. Maybe it's just a different seat...

Maybe it is the seat; I'm not sure. It definitely puts me farther back though from stock. I am really curious now as to why yours does not. I still may end up doing forward control extensions because I am 6'4".

man, the more i see these rockers, i'm lusting for one more and more. got a streetglide, so i gotta do some severious scratchin and saving to get a rocker. i hear that the standard rocker is gone in 2010, with only the c version remaining. dig my streetglide a bunch, as it's made for chewing up the miles, but the rockers are so visually appealing. damm,
