Any tips on the grips, were they difficult to put on. I ordered mine and am awaiting delivery.
The grips were very easy to install, I printed the post from DIY forum, and also had the manual, and thegrips also come with instructions..
Luckily all three agree with each other
The only thing I deviated from was I found it easier to remove the idle return cable ferule first, as opposed to the throttle return.
Its pretty intuitive once you get started, just make sure you read and understand the instructions....and don't drop the brass ferrule
On the left side, since I didn't care about keeping the old grip, I just sliced it with a knife and peeled it off.
Do the wind-deflectors vibrate on the turn signals -- mine sometimes rattle pretty loud at 65 - 70 on the highway. Just wondering!
I re-adjusted the turn signals to get a little clearance, they were touching when I installed them, but now I have about an 1/8" of clearance...honestly it took longer to adjust the signals than to install the deflectors...
i'm disappointed in those slacker engineers at HD...with just a bit more effort they could have made the adjustment of the passing/turn signals impossible..

Yeah, that's a bit of a pain! I tweeked the deflectors just a bit to get the clearance...
