Hey folks,
I just bought a 99 nt and the speedo does not work and the milage display goes out when you either rev engine or go over 5 miles an hr. Anybody have any ideas what it might be? speedo ,speed sensor or Thanks

 

I would check grounds and voltage regulator, i lost the speedo and odometer went blank. New voltage Regulator fixed mine.

 

Hopefully it is fixed by now. That was 14 years ago.

 

Sorry about that always have to check the date on those posts. My occurrence was 9-6-2023 and was fixed in a week . I have seen so many people here having Speedometer problems and they sound similar in what they do or what is seen happening. Would be nice if people would reply back with results so we would know if it worked. Maybe save someone throwing parts at their ride needlessly, plus put a current date on the post.
