Progress Report, so after I paid for shipping to Cali and back the rim gets to my shop and what do you know, IT STILL DOESN'T F*CKING FIT. They used the same hub that was on it previously and as far as I know they still haven't called back my shop. I am about to pack everything up, book a flight to Cali and take it from there. I am completely beside myself as to what to do. All I know is the weather is getting nice, my bike is in pieces, I started this project back in Feb and have over $4k in PM parts that I can't do sh*t with. I have been all about deep breaths these days.
well, if there is anyone who can relate to you is me bro. This is exactly what i went through with my wheels. I actually got a hub set from PM for my Arlen Ness wheel and it did not fit, i got stuck paying for shipping as well. they didn't seem to really care about my problem so i stopped dealing with them.
good luck to you man. what i had to do to get my point across is be really annoying and call every other day.
good luck to you man, hope you get on the road soon.
Now I wish I just bought the Ness Lowliner instead of customizing my scoot. I think I am going to have to real ***** and call and call and call and call. Squeaky wheel always get ths grease. Funny thing is that I feel better that I'm not alone.
Oh Yeah and F*CK PM
Well with a little bit of threating and an aggressive stance they got a fire under their *** and seems like thing are moving forward. Will keep you posted. Why the F8ck does simple business have to be so difficult.
And they couldn't send a new hub again, so my rim is being shipped back to Cali. My rim has been shipped via ground, probably on my dime again, now 5 TIMES and the rubber hasn't even hit the ground. and my point again F*CK PM!!
HOLY SH*T! IT FITS ITS FITS! After 3 trips across the country the rim finally fits centered. I am off to powder coat and paint. Should have her back in 2 weeks. Key word is should!
